What: The Village at Central Park is a 150,000 square-foot mixed use development on 17 acres adjacent to the Hill Country Galleria in the Village of Bee Cave at Texas 71 and RM 620.

Who: Dallas-based developers Worth Williams Properties and the Brytar Companies purchased the land from longtime owner Robert Baldwin, who also donated 50 adjacent acres to the Village of Bee Cave for a city park.
Bobby Dillard and Krista Dabney with the Austin office of Dallas-based Direct Development will handle the marketing for the project.

The project will be designed by Ware Architecture of Dallas. Bury+Partners of Austin will be the civil engineer.

FYI: The project is the third major retail center to be built in Bee Cave, as developers seek to meet retail demand in the fast-growing and affluent Western Travis County suburbs. More than 30,000 cars a day pass through the RM 620 and Texas 71 intersection.

Construction on The Village at Central Park is scheduled to begin in the third quarter of this year. Bed, Bath & Beyond is the initial tenant.

Plans call for other national and regional retailers and restaurants as well as several banks.
